The all-new platform helps ensure interior tranquillity and high-end refinement to complement the CR-V’s hybrid petrol-electric powertrain. With exemplary management of noise and vibrations, which are transferred through the body structure, the CR-V also integrates state-of-the-art sealing and sound insulation techniques. The CR-V Hybrid was developed to make the driving experience as quiet, comfortable and sophisticated as possible.
A wider position and longer wheelbase help improve stability, with wider tires and rims and a 30-mm increase in ground clearance for the hybrid version. Thanks to the new suspension and the increased rigidity of the bodywork, the new model offers the most stimulating and sophisticated driving experience ever seen in a CR-V.
The new CR-V has the largest cargo volume in the history of the range. The 160-mm increase in width and the maximum loading length of 1,830 mm – up to 150 mm more than the previous model – are sufficient to accommodate a 19.5-inch mountain bike frame.
A new single-action 60/40 “dive down” divides and folds the backs of the second-row seats faster and more easily, providing a completely flat surface for loading larger items.
On the superior versions, a tailgate operated by the hands-free function is available with added height configuration. Owners can adjust the opening height of the CR-V's power tailgate to the limit of their choice depending on the space available around the car, which is particularly useful in narrow spaces with low ceilings, or when the rear of the vehicle is near a wall.
The Honda CR-V hybrid is available from CHF 43,900 and benefits from free servicing for a period of 10 years or 100,000 km.
